First and foremost, it is our prayer at Millbrook UMC that you will be safe as you experience the effects of Hurricane Florence. This looks like a major storm and our prayers are with all who will be affected by the winds, rains, flooding and fallen trees that inevitably come from a storm of this size. Since this is the first major weather "event" of the season, we wanted to make you aware of a couple of things.
Cancellation Notices: All cancellation notices for activities at Millbrook UMC will be listed on WRAL. These are usually listed on the TV screen and can be found at the WRAL website.
MUM's Kitchen has been postponed from this Sunday (9/16) to next Sunday (9/23). Since there is so much food to be purchased and prepared, we wanted to make sure that we could offer it to both the church and our guests at a time that was safe and convenient to all. So, MUM's Kitchen will be on Sunday, September 23.
If you are involved in any small groups, classes, etc., please contact your group leader(s) if you have any concerns regarding the status of your particular meeting, class, meal, etc.
